Service Level Agreement (SLA)

This Service Level Agreement (SLA) outlines the terms and conditions for website development services provided by TechBru. By using our services, clients agree to be bound by these terms.

  1. Initial Consultation and Agreement:
  • TechBru will conduct an initial consultation to identify the client’s needs and website specifications.
  • Once both parties agree, an invoice will be issued detailing the services to be provided and the type of website required.
  1. Payment and Client Onboarding:
  • Clients are required to settle the invoice promptly.
  • After payment is received, TechBru will send a questionnaire, which must be completed and returned within 7 days.
  • If the questionnaire is not returned within 7 days, TechBru may proceed with development based on available information and time constraints.
  1. E-commerce Website Development:
  • For e-commerce sites, clients will receive both a questionnaire and a spreadsheet for product details.
  • TechBru will strictly adhere to the provided information and will not create more pages than specified.
  1. Client Responsibilities:
  • It is the client’s duty to ensure all necessary information is clearly outlined in the questionnaire.
  • TechBru is not responsible for inaccuracies arising from unclear or incomplete information.
  1. Website Design and Revisions:
  • Clients are encouraged to provide examples of preferred designs, which TechBru will aim to incorporate.
  • Upon project completion, clients will have one round of revisions to suggest any changes.
  • Any additional revisions or requests outside the scope will be invoiced separately.
  1. Project Timeline and Delivery:
  • The timeline for website completion varies by project:
    • 1-page website: 7 days
    • 5-page website: 8 days
    • 10-page website: 10 days
    • E-commerce or membership sites: 12 days
  1. Scope of Work:
  • TechBru will work strictly within the scope defined in the invoice and questionnaire.
  • Additional work requested by the client will be billed accordingly.
  1. Guarantee and Liability:
  • TechBru does not guarantee improved search engine rankings or increased website traffic.
  • The website will be built according to the specifications provided by the client in the questionnaire and invoice.
  • TechBru is not liable for miscommunication resulting from unclear or incomplete instructions.
  1. Feedback and Amendments:
  • All feedback must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the completed website.
  • Any changes requested after 7 days will be billed as additional work.
  1. Final Review:
  • Clients are given one review opportunity to thoroughly inspect the website and submit any revisions.
  • TechBru is not responsible for any overlooked details after the review is finalized.

Hosting Disclaimer:

At TechBru, we prioritize secure and reliable hosting services. However, there are factors beyond our control that may affect service performance. Clients are encouraged to implement additional backup and security measures. While we strive to provide continuous service, occasional disruptions may occur due to:

  • Scheduled Maintenance: Routine updates and system upgrades.
  • Network Disruptions: External factors affecting internet connectivity.
  • Data Security: TechBru takes data protection seriously but cannot fully guarantee the prevention of breaches.
  • Unexpected Downtime: Unplanned incidents that may cause service interruptions.
  1. Payment Terms and Refund Policy:
  • Projects under R10,000 must be paid in full before work commences.
  • For projects over R10,000, a 50% deposit is required to begin work.
  • No refunds will be provided once the invoice has been paid.
  • Hosting and management packages paid upfront are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will not be issued for any digital products, websites, or hosting services.
  1. Cancellation and Termination:
  • Clients must provide 30 days’ written notice to cancel any ongoing service or subscription.
  • TechBru reserves the right to terminate service for any client, with a prorated refund offered for unused services.
  • TechBru retains ownership of all design, code, and assets until full payment is received.
  1. Legal Compliance:
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their content complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • TechBru reserves the right to suspend services if illegal content is detected.
  1. Changes to Terms of Service:
  • We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
  1. Governing Law:
  • These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
